Millet bread (karo)

Kalo (or Karo) is a dish notable among the ethnic agrarian clans in the western piece of Uganda including the Bakiga, Banyankole, Batooro and Banyoro just as certain clans from eastern Uganda including the Bagwere.

Be that as it may, a few customs have it that it started from the clans of northern Uganda during the Gipiiri and Labongo Luo movement before spreading southwards.
