The First Kadodi Carnival Launched At Uganda Museum

Kadodi Dance/fair is the second biggest Carnival on the planet after the one of Brazil

KADODI is a Gisu customary free-form dance from Uganda, regularly performed at the Gisu male circumcision inception service, the Imbalu.

This is a neighborhood dance Mainly utilized by an ethnic gathering of Bantu from the Elgon area known as bamasaba .

Kadodi thumps is a combination of sound from drums and other African customary instruments.

 

 

Its beat sends throbbing waves through all that experience its cadence leaving nobody the equivalent. The dance isn’t threatening and is generally participatory, with the crowd free-styling as the beat leads them.

In Uganda where many societies flourish, Kadodi stands unchallenged and keeps on vanquishing hearts any place it is presented.

Kadodi is mostly used In the period of circumcision locally known as IMBALU where a boys turn to men through circumcision .

These beats help in moral boosting ,and company due to long distances moved  by both the candidate and his moral boosters .

The biggest occasion is generally in August in mutoto cultural ground In Mbale District.
